Triumph energy services offers nothing but the best products when it comes to marine breakaway couplings, we provide a complete suite of after-market support services and we have a dedicated team to support you, our customers.
Our range of marine breakaway couplings offers nothing but the best acting as Gall Thompson’s direct agent in Ghana and throughout Africa. Triumph energy supplies, offers basic and advanced Refurbishment and Servicing works on all types of MBC’s and any oil & gas marine related products.
The Gall Thomson Petal Valve Marine Breakaway Coupling has been specifically developed for heavy fuel oil and crude oil safe transfer. This MBC offers zero head loss and protects hoses and assets from damage that might be caused by undue overload during tanker loading and discharging or extreme pressure surge. This marine breakaway coupling offers low-maintenance, ease of fitting, pigging and is compact and lightweight. The unit is self-energised which means the MBC is not vulnerable to the reliability of external power sources.
The option of instantaneous or controlled closure means the MBC can be calibrated to suit particular system requirements.
The Gall Thomson Flip-Flap Valve Marine Breakaway Coupling is suitable for low-viscosity products or short-term crude oil terminal operations, fuel and liquid gas (LPG) transfer systems and temporary loading/offloading operations.
The unit is compact and lightweight and offers flow efficiency and safety within offshore oil transfer systems. These include minimum headloss, 100% leak-free shut-off, low maintenance and ease of fitting. This unit is self-energised which means the marine breakaway coupling is not vulnerable to the reliability of external power sources. The option of instantaneous or controlled closure means that the unit can be calibrated to suit particular system requirements
The Emergency Release and Shut Off Coupling ERSOC has been designed to operate in a marine environment. It provides a safe parting point in the marine hose transfer system for FPSO, FSO, barge applications and seawater transfer systems in anticipated emergency scenarios or in a routine hose change out. They are designed to react to tanker breakout or extreme pressure surge. ERSOC provides an additional facility for applications where controlled release over the transfer system is also required. They come off the sizes 6” to 24” nominal bore.
The Gall Thomson PODx (Powered Offshore Disconnect) provides an identified parting point to an offshore mooring line when an emergency situation is anticipated. The PODx remote activation facility enables control over emergency situations and enables a new level in the protection of people, assets, operations and reputations against offshore emergency situations.
The camlock coupling offers an efficient connect and disconnect of hose flanges and is considerably easier, quicker and much safer than the more traditional draft pin, nuts and bolt alternatives.
Each camlock on the unit takes only five seconds to connect and is impossible to loosen once deployed in a pressurized line. Gall Thomson offers a comprehensive range of fitment types and extras such as blind flanges and lifting lugs. Camlock couplings are also available in different materials and special paint finishes.
The Gall Thomson Camlock Coupling is used throughout the world in marine loading / discharging terminals, ports, refineries, dock facilities, chemical plants and distribution centers. Applications include cryogenic, submersible and hydraulic operations.
The Butterfly Valve, isolates or regulates the flow of a fluid. The closing mechanism is a disk that rotates. The disc is positioned in the center of the pipe. A rod passes through the disc to an actuator on the outside of the valve. Rotating the actuator turns the disc either parallel or perpendicular to the flow. The disc is always present within the flow, so it induces a pressure drop, even when open. Once the valve is closed, the disc is turned so that it completely blocks off the passageway. When the valve is fully open, the disc is rotated a quarter turn so that it allows an almost unrestricted passage of the fluid. The valve may also be opened incrementally to throttle flow during the transfer of fluids.
